How are we different?
- We retain employees. Nearly half of our employees have been with us for at least 20 years and 30% have been with us for 25 years or longer.
- We retain clients. More than half of our clients are repeat clients and most of these have been our clients for more than 15 years.
- We have an excellent reputation, including service to the following organizations:
Pennsylvania Cleanup Standards Scientific Advisory Board (CSSAB)
The founder of Groundwater Sciences Corporation (GSC), Craig G. Robertson, was appointed by the governor of Pennsylvania to represent the business community on the CSSAB and was nominated for the position by the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry (PCBI). In addition, former GSC vice president Lawrence Roach and senior associate Charles Rine have both served on sub-committees of the CSSAB.
Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC)
Senior associate Charles Rine was an adjunct faculty lecturer at HACC and taught an annual course in environmental laws, regulations, and compliance from 2006 to 2012.
GSC has a long record of corporate giving to conservation and human services organizations. Employees of GSC have served in community leadership roles such as borough council member and municipal authority board member. In addition, GSC employees have provided significant support to local and regional science fairs, and to local school science instructional programs.
